Sweta Jadaun is a Consultant at Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), with 5+ years of experience in the development sector. She has worked with social sector organisations across education, public health, women empowerment and SEEL learning. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Azim Premji University. She has also undertaken research on women’s empowerment and leadership, with a particular focus on impact of women leadership on MGNREGA work and empowerment. Her research findings have been published in a journal at Banaras Hindu University.
At FAT, she supports the FAT Entrepreneurship initiative, facilitates news and training sessions, and contributes to building a makerspace within the organisation. She enjoys working closely with communities and learning alongside the people she works with. Sweta sees herself as a constant learner and approaches her work with curiosity, humility, and openness.
She believes in creating strong, sustainable systems that encourage collective ownership rather than dependence on individuals. Her understanding of leadership has been shaped by her experiences of working with communities, where she has learned that meaningful change comes from listening, collaborating, and creating spaces for people to take ownership.
