Sonali Bhattacharjee is a Senior Counsellor at Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), having joined the organisation in June 2026. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and brings over six years of experience across organisational and community mental health settings.
Her work in resource-constrained settings has strengthened her understanding that mental health cannot be separated from social and structural contexts. Feminism serves as a crucial lens in her practice—helping navigate how power, gender, access, and social expectations shape individual choices and experiences.
She believes creating spaces for individuals to exercise agency and question restrictive structures is central to mental health and social change. At FAT, she explores feminist leadership through practices of care, reflection, and collective learning.
