Shivani Wangkheirakpam is the Curriculum Development Consultant at Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), having joined the organization in May 2025. She pursued her Bachelor's degree in Sociology later in her journey after already entering the workforce, reflecting her deep commitment to continuous learning alongside professional experience.
Born and brought up in Manipur, a region marked by prolonged armed conflict, Shivani grew up witnessing women stand on the frontlines to protect their families and communities. This lived experience shaped her early and enduring understanding of feminist agency, showing her that leadership often emerges out of necessity, courage, and care rather than formal recognition.
As Curriculum Development Consultant, Shivani brings lived feminist agency and academic depth to shaping FAT’s transformative educational content.
